Are super tampons that much harder than normal tampons to get in?
hi im 14 and i just started using tampons today!!! :] and i got the whole thing down!!! it sooo easy…well for me!! i bought normal and super (not super ) and they look big and scary.. r they that much harder!!!
And how long about will they hold for!!! like 3 ish hours?? (and should i only use them over night)?
No, they're not any harder. Don't use super tampons if you have a light flow because it's just a big waste. If your period is heavy than they can last up to about 6 hours (you want to change them at least every 8 hours max because of toxic shock syndrome.) Don't use any tampon overnight unless you sleep less than 8 hours. They could cause TSS if used for longer!
PS: I'm just like you, tampons were so easy for me. I was used to it the second time I used one. They're so easy and comfortable, I can't imagine using pads anymore!* : )
The larger tampons should not be harder to get in. Your body is designed to stretch in order to have a baby later on in your life. Just relax for a while before you try inserting the larger ones. If it hurts, or you have any problems, it could just be that it isn't in straight, or you are not relaxed. You also should have a hymen gland in your vaginal canal. If you can't insert the larger ones in far enough, the hymen may be blocking it and you may want to visit a doctor and ask what you should do. Read the directions on the box. Buy the tampons according to how heavy the blood flow is. If the flow is heavy, the super ones normally last for about five or six hours. If you don't know when to change it, try pulling it out. If it hurts or if it is difficult to pull out, leave it in for another hour. You can also tell when it is time to change if it starts leaking. I would wear a light days pad with the tampon just in case. Talk to your mom, or your school nurse, or your doctor before wearing them overnight. I hope I provided enough information.
Supers should only be use if a normal would not hold, then use a super, Supers are not to help you stay away from the bathroom longer. I would suggest use it at night and change it mid evening, That's how I work those. They are not that much harder to use if its dry or tight feeling then your not meant to use it at that time. Meaning your flow is not that heavy. You can hurt yourself by forcing so don't.
No. They arent much harder at all.
They actuallyy feel the same.
Now when you see a tampon the size of a penis, then be scared.
The super ones also hold more.
It depends on the brand too.
I wear mine overnight.
It shouldnt hurt anything.
it probably depends how hard a regular was for you. if those weren't much trouble, supers aren't really that much bigger. It's going to be different for every girl but neither were ever too difficult for me.
