My sister is on Klaricid ( Clarthromycid ) antibiotics one twice a day, she started them on Monday, but wants to go out this Sunday because she has a rare Monday off. Could she stop taking them on Sunday and still be able to drink normally, will the course still work? Thanks.

Alcohol counteracts antibiotics. If the antibiotics are going to be used for the enntire course of treatment and she expects them to fully work, then she shouldn't go out an drink.

Alcohol affect most medicines as it will hydrolyze the medicine when she take them together and reduce the medicine efficiency

No it won't still work, she'll have to start another course over.
